[Swansea Hackspace] repairing mains to 13.5v power adapter for old B$W crt

my crt i use for the pong maschine suffered a fall. the onlyt damage was
rthe already damaged plastic casing of the 13.5v power adapter plug for it.
it lost most of the plastic and the solders failed on the prongs but i have
all the parts. i would be looking to repair. its less than an amp output.
would you repair the original piece (perhaps with a 3d printed plug case)
or find an alternative adapter, say for a laptop, and solder the connector
on?
