[Swansea Hackspace] Slow wifi how to investigate.

My internet speed is great. i can check it with several devices and it 
is great.

However a recently set up ubuntu system is very slow. It is obviously a 
problem with the wifi.

The machine is not the fastest in the word itself but the wifi is 
ridiculous on times.

It may, for example, be a distance thing or something, but it definitely 
is slow.

What do I need to look at, how can I investigate what it happening?

It works but is often ridiculously slow.
